Part 3: Reflect on your solution
Your last task: compare your solution to an official solution, take note of the differences, and learn whatever there is for you to learn from the comparison.
Use this link to see my (Paul’s) solution to the assignment:
https://github.com/mac-comp381/type-modeling/compare/solution...main
Now edit this URL to substitute your own GitHub username, and open it in a second browser tab to see your own solution:
https://github.com/mac-comp381/type-modeling/compare/main...YOUR_GITHUB_USERNAME:type-modeling:main
(Do not create a pull request or merge changes! Just scroll through and look!)
Compare the two side by side. Are they similar? identical? very different? Are there any notable, nontrivial differences? Did you learn anything by looking at my solution? Can I learn something by looking at your solution?
Add a file named REFLECTION.txt in your type-modeling repository, and write some notes — just a few sentences! — about aspects of this comparison that struck you. Tell me what you see.
Commit and push your REFLECTION.txt.
Once you’ve doing that, you’re done with the assignment. Yay! Go outside and take a pleasant walk as you muse on how much work it must take to implement an entire programming language.
